Thomond Park is the home ground of Munster Rugby, one of the most successful and best-supported rugby clubs in the world. The famous venue is renowned internationally for its unique history and atmosphere.

Easily accessible by foot, rail, car, bus


Limerick's Colbert Station is approximately 10 minute walk from Thomond Park. Regular direct services operate to Dublin (2 hours)  and Galway (2 hours) whilst connections to other destinations including Cork and Waterford can be made at Limerick Junction.


Bus Eireann is the main bus operator in the country and offers services to Limerick from towns and cities including Galway (1.5 hours), Tralee (2 hours), Killarney (2 hours), Cork (2 hours), Sligo (2.5 hours) and Dublin (2 hours). The bus and train stations are co-located in the City Centre.


Main roads serving the city include the M7 from Dublin, N24 from Tipperary and N20 from Cork.

By car, the journey from Dublin Airport to Limerick takes on average 2 hours on the newly opened M7 motorway. 

Thomond Park is situated on the Cratloe Road and is accessible from Junction 3 of the N18 or through the city.
